Module 1: Geographic Information Systems

 

This was the first week of navigating the ARCGISPro program. To say the least it is a pretty cool program with lots of bells and whistles to help you create the perfect map for your project area. It will definitely take some getting used to in order to fully take advantage of what the program has to offer as with any program that you may find yourself navigating. Some tips that I think would help me in the future is working a desktop with a larger screen compared to a portable laptop. While I do have a mouse, I found that having a smaller screen and keyboard was challenging for me. I did end up connecting a separate larger keyboard for more maneuverability and was able to complete the work. My map is pictured above and is basic vector representation of world countries and cities.
